The role of Quality Control professionals is to be knowledgeable in all areas of the construction projects. Work with Internal soft wear program for tracking daily welding reports, audit the information before entering into tracking soft wear. Update both piping isometric and as-built drawings on a daily bases. Coordinate/track all the NDE requirements for the project and communicate with the NDE company and Inspectors with the NDE percentages, weld repair rate, audit NDE reports. perform NDE clearance for hydro testing, generate AB 83s. Monitor and Control Welder Qualification Records, Welders Identification symbols. Coordinate inspection scheduling (company, client inspectors and third party). Assist with Project Quality Orientation and tracking of the personnel orientations. Coordinate QC Files and Logs (CSR, NCRs, CARs, etc) Assist/Coordinate project internal audits, set up, notification, agenda, report documentation, tracking of audit findings, closing of audits, filing and retrieval.
