Description
Located near Rosetown, Saskatchewan, the TransGas Waste Heat Recovery Project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by extracting waste heat from its exhaust system and producing 1MW electricity through an electric generator driven by an Organic Ranking Cycle (ORC). This energy is sold back to SaskPower.
Canonbie Contracting Limited (CCL) entered into an interdivisional agreement with Found Energy. Found Energy designed, provided project engineering and procured major equipment while CCL provided labour, construction equipment, fabrication and miscellaneous permanent materials.

- Install ORC basement grating/ladders & oil expansion tank supports
Electrical/Instrumentation
- Install all the components including the supply of cable, conduit and cable tray
Commissioning and start-up
Pre-Engineered ORC Building
- Manage the installation by Found Energy subcontractor on site
- Install all lighting & electrical components in the building
Mechanical Equipment/Piping
- Install all the major equipment including: ORC Skids, Heat Exchangers, Ducting, Tanks, and Pumps
- Supply, fabricate, install and test all piping
- Supply and install insulation
